After a life full of ups and downs, I've finally regained some peaceful time here. This old, small apartment has everything I need. A sunny balcony, two small tatami rooms, and a kitchen. It's enough for me. That day, I went shopping in the downtown area. I stopped by my favorite junk shop. A French press for 300 yen, a hand towel for 100 yen, a ramen bowl for 100 yen, etc... Cheap and cute things are all gathered there. Like hunting for treasures, I picked out lovely things as usual. Since moving, the cityscape looks different to me. The paths I walk have changed a little, and it feels fresh. Little by little, my room will become my space. I'm enjoying that process.
