God is Faithful. The Faithfulness of our God is the perfection of His character, through which God honors His Word and fulfills all His promises. God is His own reason for everything He is and does. He is constant, truthful, and absolutely trustworthy in everything He says, promises, and does. His Faithfulness is not conditioned by circumstances, nor is it a consideration for human loyalty. God is Faithful to Himself. His commitment to act in perfect coherence with His character, His Word, and His covenants is immutable and unalterable. We honor His faithfulness when we trust His promises and respond in obedience to His Word.
