Sarah Campbell event moderator showreel
BBC Presenter and Correspondent, Royal Correspondent, Moderator and Event Host, Keynote Speaker on Women and Equality, Resilience From the death of Queen Elizabeth II to the Boxing Day Tsunami, the 2006 Oscars and the trial of Rolf Harris, Sarah has used her expertise, enthusiasm and broadcasting skills to deliver the news on the BBC for almost three decades. She is a regular presenter on the News Channel and BBC Breakfast’s red sofa and since 2013 has been one of the BBC’s royal correspondents. As well as spending days waiting for royal babies, she has watched as members of the family have married, fallen out and passed away. In what she describes as the most extraordinary 11 days of her life, she reported first from the castle gates of Balmoral and then from London for the lying-in-state and funeral of Queen Elizabeth II. Eight months later, she once again had a front row position at Westminster Abbey for the Coronation. She considers herself privileged to have been eyewitness to some of the most significant global events of recent years and interviewed globally important figures. Sarah enjoys meeting inspiring people, broadening her own horizons and making sense of complex, important issues. On the BBC News Channel, she regularly has to moderate debates on everything from Artificial Intelligence to Taylor Swift’s latest album. Her career has often required working in unpredictable, stressful environments. Bringing up two children never knowing when she might have to be deployed to a story has not been easy but she has made it work and believes that supportive bosses are crucial to an effective business. Warm and engaging, she looks forward to sharing her skills as a speaker, moderator and host.
