Weeds Weeds Weeds Webinar
It’s a tale as old as time. You get to your favorite fishing hole, throw a line out, and are immediately caught in the “weeds” as you try and reel in. When thinking of aquatic invasive species thoughts often arise of critters such as jumping carp, zebra mussels, or crawling crayfish. However, the most widespread AIS issue in Nebraska is not these species but actually invasive aquatic plants. Come listen to Kristopher Stahr, NGPC AIS Program Manager (often called the weed doctor), describe the impact these species are having in Nebraska and the efforts being undertaken to control these pesky plants in our waters. Presenter: Kristopher Stahr, Nebraska Game and Parks Commission
