Milano, processo ultras: in aula la verità di Ferdico sul delitto Boiocchi

The former head of the Inter board is accused of the murder of Vittorio Boiocchi, a historic figure in the Nerazzurri fan base and for years considered the absolute leader of the Nord division, who was shot dead outside his home on October 29, 2022, on Via Fratelli Zanzottera. For nearly three hours, Ferdico recounts relationships, tensions, and internal affairs within the ultras world. Money, merchandising, and control of the stadium are said to be at the center. But his story also features a seemingly trivial episode: an Inter shirt given to him by player Alessandro Bastoni after the Coppa Italia final. He says he kept it for himself without sharing it with the others in the group, and that from that moment on, Boiocchi began to resent him as well. "They made me understand he was furious," he states. From then on, he explains, the atmosphere became increasingly tense. He also mentions Andrea Beretta, now a cooperating witness and considered by the prosecutor's office to be the instigator of the crime. According to Ferdico, Beretta lived under the belief that Boiocchi wanted to eliminate him and kept repeating: "He wants to kill us both." It was at that point that the prosecution's plan for the ambush took shape: on-site inspections, motorcycles prepared for the getaway, encrypted phones, and a gun purchased in Calabria. Before prosecutor Paolo Storari, who coordinated the investigation with his colleague Stefano Ammendola, Ferdico admitted his responsibility but tried to keep his father Gianfranco, also a defendant in the trial, out of the picture. Then came the sentence that sparked tension in the courtroom: "Boiocchi was right, Beretta was stealing his money." These words provoked a reaction from the victim's family, who left the courtroom during the hearing. The next meeting is scheduled for July 8th.
