[Mineral Gathering: Searching for Treasure! A Visit to Takatori Mine] I visited Takatori Mine and Tin Takano Mine in Ibaraki Prefecture. I think the tailings here are from the Tin Takano Mine. There were a lot of thorns growing on the mountain path, so it would hurt if you were lightly dressed. I think I might bring pruning shears next time. The ores I collected were mostly milky white quartz. Other minerals I found included malachite, heavy manganese ore, and pyrite.
