Vandalized Frederick Douglass statue replaced in Rochester
The Frederick Douglass statue at Kelsey’s Landing in Maplewood Park that was vandalized over the July Fourth weekend was reinstalled. Douglass statues can be seen at sites across the city commemorating his life and work in Rochester and to celebrate the bicentennial of his birth.
