$20 to $800: One of Our Best Flips Ever
Shop our eBay store: https://ebay.us/RGj1W6 Candice paid just $20 for an Epson Perfection V600 photo scanner and sold it for $799.99, making this one of our best individual flips ever! We hadn’t planned to visit garage sales that morning. Candice woke up around 6:00, opened Facebook and immediately saw a nearby sale. The scanner caught her attention even though she normally doesn’t spend much time looking at electronics. After checking the sold prices, she messaged the seller and asked what they wanted. When the answer came back at only $20, Candice immediately offered to pay through Venmo and collect it when the sale opened. She visited only three local sales and was finished sourcing in approximately 30 minutes. The scanner was genuinely new in its open box. The accessories, software and instruction manual were still sealed, and the protective factory tape remained attached. A comparable scanner had sold for $799.99 just one day before we created our listing, and there were no other new open-box examples available. We decided to aim for the top of the market—and it worked. Now Lonnie has to make sure this $800 scanner reaches its buyer safely. We use the original packaging, plenty of additional protection and a modified large Home Depot box. We also discuss the surprising price difference between large and extra-large moving boxes. This wasn’t merely a good flip. Considering how Candice discovered it, secured it before the sale opened and paid only $20, it may be her best garage sale score ever.
