A travel guide about Gerstungen? To be honest, we didn't think of this place in Thuringia ourselves. Thomas, one of our viewers, suggested his hometown of Gerstungen. So, off we went to Gerstungen! This town on the former inner-German border completely surprised us. Its more recent history is closely intertwined with the division of Germany. But there's also plenty of older history to admire. And the Werra Valley is simply enchanting. One night in Gerstungen was almost not enough. We really want to recommend this region and the "stork town" of Gerstungen with its wonderful districts.
