LAS VEGAS — Microsoft’s Bill Gates will deliver the New Millennium Keynote address at the international Consumer Electronic Show (CES) on Jan. 5. Gates’ address is set for the Las Vegas Hilton Theater of the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel & Casino. CES opens the next day and continues through Jan. 9. CES is sponsored by the Consumer Electronics Manufacturers Assn., which reps more than 500 U.S. manufacturers of audio, video, communication and multimedia products that are sold via consumer channels. The Digital Hollywood conference, which highlights entertainment-related applications of consumer electronics, will be combined with CES for the second consecutive year. About 90,000 people attended the show this year.
