2011 Concorso d'Eleganza Ken Vendley Production / Motorscape International

The Concorso d'Eleganze Villa d'Este is one of Motorscapes most popular shows and the 2011 version was no exception other than it was exceptional. Where else can you find a priemer automobile event in at beautiful Lake Como one of Italy's marvellous locations? With automobiles of exceptional provenance its easy to see why it has been going on since 1929. This one of a kind event with its reputation loures an international participation of leading auto devotees. In 2011 this show comes at you with an array meaningfull viechles and as usual alsoa spectacular presentation of design prototype cars. The Concorso is held both on Saturday as an intimate affare at the famed luxerious Hotel Villa d'Este while the Sunday public showing is at nearby Villa Erbe of James Bond and Oceans 11 movie fame. Motorscape attempts to cover both and all the goings on including a motorcycle showing. For example one Alfa Romeo Strdele Tpye33 followed the arrival of a Renault one of a kind design both more than forty years apart yet similar with one electric and the Alfa tiny V8 both eye dropping in there comparison an then a late Bill Spear Ferrari of the 50's racing fame than topping that off was a 12 cylinder Maserati bird cage busting on the sence thats some excitement. This event included a dramatic RM Auction and one of its offerings were the cars of the Bertoni Museum including the Linca StratosZero.
