Interview with Heathcliff's Cartoonist, Peter Gallagher – 2005 DVD featurette
This featurette was produced for Shout! Factory's 2005 DVD set "Heathcliff and The Catillac Cats". Current Heathcliff cartoonist Pete Gallagher talks about the origins of Heathcliff (the name and character), the first many years of the comic strip done by creator Geo Gately and his brother John Gallagher (Pete's uncles), and shows off how he draws Heathcliff today. And, oh yes, he mentions the DiC animated series in exactly one sentence! But if you like Heathcliff in his original comic panel/strip form, there is some interesting stuff in here. I decided to encode my DVD rip in 720p, since the comic panels and artwork are reproduced in very nice quality.
