The recipe for Christmas cookies is very simple, the essence resides in the mold you use. Have a cookie cutter or mold that represents a Christmas motif, a star, a tree, a bell or a Christmas ball. To make the cookies, mix all the ingredients in a bowl. The butter has to be cold, as it will not mix easily with the rest of the ingredients, you have to melt it little by little with your hands until you get a sandy texture. Pour the content of the bowl on a table and knead it for 5 minutes. Stretch the dough on a piece of baking paper, when it starts to be flat put another sheet of paper on top and continue stretching with the roller until it is 1/2 cm. thick. Let the dough rest in the fridge for at least 1/2 hour. After this time cut the dough with a mould and put the stars on a baking plate. Always with paper underneath so that they don't stick. Bake for 12 minutes at 180º degrees or until the tips of the cookies start to brown. Remove the cookies and let them cool. They are ready to eat.
