Autumn in Fushimi Inari Taisha, Kyoto, Japan

Hi everyone! ⛩️ What You'll Experience: Walk through the iconic tunnel formed by thousands of bright vermillion torii gates, known as Senbon Torii. Enjoy a full hike up to the summit of Mount Inari (233 meters), where several viewpoints offer beautiful panoramic views of the city of Kyoto. Along the trail, visitors can discover many smaller shrines and the famous fox statues — believed to be the sacred messengers of Inari. As you continue higher up the mountain, the path becomes quieter, leading through peaceful forest trails away from the busy crowds below. The entire hiking route from the base to the summit and back usually takes about 2–3 hours, offering a complete and memorable trekking experience. Fushimi Inari Taisha is dedicated to Inari, the Shinto deity associated with rice, agriculture, and prosperity. The thousands of torii gates lining the path were donated by individuals and businesses, and you can see the names of the donors inscribed on the back of each gate. 📍 Location: Fushimi Inari Taisha, Fushimi Ward, Kyoto, Japan Contact via Email: [email protected] © Copyright belongs to Huong Phung © Copyright by Huong Phung ☞ Do not Reup
