The social credit system of China has been the protagonist of a lot of news and reports that show it as less than a totalitarian nightmare worthy of the most terrifying dystopia. However, much of what has been said about it are exaggerations or half-truths that vanish as soon as one bothers to investigate their functioning. In this video we put ourselves in the place of a Chinese student without too many resources and we tested Alibaba's credit system, the famous Zhima Credit, to see what advantages it can offer us with its collaborative economy platform.
