How to Use Twisthaler Inhalers
Do you know how to properly use your Twisthaler Inhaler? Studies show only 1/3 of patients are using their inhalers correctly, 1/3 are performing adequately but not correct and 1/3 are using their inhalers incorrectly. Some asthma medications can be taken in the form of a dry powder using a small, hand-held device called a dry powder inhaler (DPI). The Twisthaler contains the inhaled corticosteroid mometasone which comes in 2 strengths 110 mcg and 220 mcg. This video will teach you how to properly use a Twisthaler inhaler (Asmanex).
