Remember Who You Are (11:00 am Worship Service)

Have you ever forgotten something that was really important? Most of us rely on calendars, reminders, sticky notes, or our phones to help us remember birthdays, appointments, and important events. But sometimes, in the middle of life's busyness, we can forget something even more important—we can forget who we are. This week, we'll celebrate the gift of baptism at both of our worship services and explore one of the most beautiful promises of our faith. Through scripture, story, and our United Methodist understanding of baptism, we'll discover that before we ever accomplished anything, before we earned anything, before we proved anything, God had already spoken a word of grace over our lives. Whether your baptism was many years ago, or you'll be witnessing someone else's baptism this Sunday, I believe this message will encourage and remind you of God's incredible love and faithfulness.
