Trying to use Vacuum gauge to set the timing on my 289
*UPDATE i found that my distributor was off by 1 tooth, causing all of the issues you see. I moved it one tooth, adjusted my idle mixture screws, and now she runs much better. See my other video called "Ride along..."* On my 1965 Mustang 289, i have been trying to set the timing correctly. In this video it seems to get the best vacuum at around 30 degrees before top dead center. Not sure what is going on here.
