The story takes place one year after DMC5, and one year after the latest entry in the Touhou storyline; with liberties taken due to inconsistent lore and integration of the fandom with the latter. Due to a graphic sexual scene in this animation, it is restricted to 18+ only. This episode showcases the background of events that began prior before the burning of Eientei, explaining Dante and Vergil's return home, as well as showcasing how Sparda was involved with Sendai in defending ancient Japan against Mundus and Makai. The second episode will begin production wise next year in Feburary...as this was a three month long video so I understandably would like a break from this series to go back to shorter, more memey.
