I didn't really know what to expect from Athens. It's one of those cities you've seen in photos a hundred times — but being there is something else entirely. The Acropolis, the Ancient Agora, the Temple of Zeus, the theatres cut into the hillside. It's a lot to take in, and I found myself just... slowing down. Walking without much of a plan. Watching the light change over the city from the lookouts above. Athens earned its reputation.
