The Montréal Metro, or Métro de Montréal, is a fully underground rubber-tyred metro network consisting of four lines that serve Montréal, Québec as well as the regions of Laval and Longueuil. The system is notable not only for its rubber-tyred vehicles based off of the Parisian model (but, like with CDMX and Santiago, far more capacity), but also for its use of transepts and side platforms, brutalist architecture, unique bench designs, and overall excellent quality.
