Coffee Bay - South Africa

It's been a dream of mine to film in Coffee Bay and to see Hole In The Wall, we did it! Finally another epic location ticked off the list. Aaron and myself started the journey in Uvongo, down the South Coast. On our adventure bikes, we had a 7.5 hour ride into the Wild Coast/Transkei to reach Coffee Bay. After a few long hours of dodging pothole and live stock on the roads we reached, The Coffee Shack, an epic backpackers in the heart of Coffee Bay, which came highly recommended to us. We would use this as our base as we explored this jurassic coastline. It's really hard to describe just how grand this whole area is, the sweeping hills to jagged rock faces, untouched beaches to the most welcoming locals. The Transkei just has it all. Each time I go back I learn something new, the forever changing landscape is beautiful, a true South African gem! We spent a week exploring and met some great people along the way. This is what I love most about travelling, the people, the stories and how we are all here at this point in time. I will never stop!
