Apartamenty Grzybowska 11 - fundamenty gotowe!

🏗️ The very center of Warsaw, with limited space and challenging construction conditions – this is where Apartamenty Grzybowska 11, a 9-story building from Dom Development's portfolio, is being built. Commissioned by the general contractor, Dom Construction, we are responsible for comprehensive geotechnical and foundation works. 🧱 As part of Soletanche Polska's scope of work, we constructed a 60 cm thick diaphragm wall reaching a depth of nearly 11 meters below ground level, as well as a steel strut system securing the excavation. Thanks to efficient work organization and the team's experience, we achieved a rate of up to three wall sections per day! That's approximately 260 m² of finished structure per day. ⚙️ A key element of the project was the use of a polymer slurry instead of traditional bentonite slurry during the excavation of the diaphragm walls. This solution effectively stabilized the excavation, reduced rockfall and deformation, and achieved excellent formation of the reinforcement cover and joints between the wall sections. Today, after the structure was unveiled, the effects of this solution are clearly visible. 💡 Polymer technology offers greater flexibility in challenging ground conditions, but also significantly improves the construction process. Reduced material consumption, simpler work organization, and easier waste management translate into greater control over construction and a more efficient process. 🏙️ Interestingly, this isn't the only construction project we're currently undertaking on Grzybowska Street. At number 54, we're laying the foundations for the 150-meter Liberty Tower (43 floors above ground and 5 underground) for Resi Capital, a member of the Cavatina Group.
