Caravelles ex-SNCF en Roumanie.

Caravelles have been part of French and Romanian railway history for almost 20 years. The operator Regio Călători operates X4300 - X4500 - X4630 - X4750 ex-SNCF on its non-electrified local lines. A trip aboard these trains takes you back a few decades. The majority of the Caravelles fleet have undergone interior and exterior modifications, some as far back as the completely altered front end. In 2023, it was still possible to travel in Caravelles in the Timișoara, Arad, Brașov, Ploiești and Iaşi area. In recent weeks, however, VT2Es and Duewag BR-628s have replaced the EAD fleet at Timișoara, Arad and Iaşi.
