Understanding Cisco Unified Communications Manager Licensing

In this video I explain CUCM licensing at a high level and then go into the system to see how the licenses are actually applied to the system. There is a lot of confusion between CUWL, UCL Enhanced, UCL Enhanced Plus, Basic and Essential licensing. My hope is that this helps clear some of it up. This video is based on a CUCM 12.5 system using smart licensing rather than the 11.5 and older Prime Licensing Manager (PLM). Either way the key points here are valid on both platforms.
