Our Best Shoes for Dancing - Sondre & Tanya
For our dear followers seeking for the new shoes suitable for dancing or walking. We received so many questions about our shoes worn in different videos, that it seemed easier to make a short observation to provide you with the information. This video is not a promotion and neither an advertisement of any kind. We are Observing main brands we are using for the daily practicing as well as for the teaching and performing: 1) Millelire brand - Tanya’s recent pink shoes, Sondre’s brown, white and BW shoes in most of the videos as well as in the videos "Dancing Through Norway" We are open about the fact of receiving Millelire shoes for free as a test version in order to provide a substantial feedback about them. We never agreed to promote them unless we honestly like the quality. Fortunately they have been doing an amazing job so far. Since Tanya’s model is pretty new, Sondre has managed to test them in all kinds of surfaces from special parquet til asphalt and rocky mountains. We both like these shoes for: durability: soles stay the same even after more than a year of active dancing regardless of your anatomical peculiarities style: they look freaking sharp and match almost all types of costumes, suits and dresses smell - yep, with a decent care they stay fresh for as long as possible without creating any smell (unlike KEDS or other sport shoes for example) comfort from the first step - they are super soft on the foot and you don’t need to suffer those first 5 parties to adjust to them. 2) Bleyers - we used them almost in all our competitions and performances before pandemics. They are extremely soft and adjustable to the foot. At the same time the soles (we prefer Eva sole) have a good amortisation, which makes it easy to land from the tricks. In that sense they are even better than Millelire. One weakness is that soles are peeled off pretty fast in case of an intensive use. So you shoudl have many pairs for practicing and performing. Also the soles are peeled off in the places which take more pressure and within time the balance of the shoe is broken which makes you a bit less stable and gives pain in the foot. That is why we recommend to buy a new pair every 1.5 - 2 years. you can't use them on asphalt you can wash them in the washing machine a few times (but not too often) 3) Saint Savoy - Red heels of Tanya Very beautiful and nice especially for the slow dancing a bit too hard. You need these 5 first parties to adjust them to your foot in case you have a "European" foot - wide and short stable heels 4) Standard Ballroom/Latin shoes with 3 cm heels - Tanya is wearing them during slow competition rounds very comfortable and immediately soft on your foot you can buy them in almost all shops meant for the ballroom dancers elegant very stable heels you can’t use them outside of the dance floor they peel off quickly, so you will have to buy a new pair every 1.5 years in case of an intensive use We hope this was helpful!
