Enfield Ballast 17th April 1998

A sunny day out in Enfield Station, County Meath on the 17th April 1998 when ballast working took place. An empty ballast headed by loco no 148 comes into the loop from the Enfield - Killucan section and proceeds down to the siding to reload. Meanwhile loco 170 awaits the arrival of the down Sligo passenger before departing light engine towards Dublin. Loco 148 then departs towards Dublin and the Enfield - Maynooth section. It finishes with 080 on the down Sligo passenger. Enjoy E!
