Painting With Coffee

This week I decided to brew a light roast coffee, make a high concentration of it, and used it to paint. I poured the coffee on the paper I was working on and did my best to create a ship. I had not practiced this painting before and instead wanted this video to be completely genuine and authentic. Therefore I filmed and painted in the moment. For full transparency, I Googled "coffee paintings" and found a painting of a ship similar to this one that I used for reference for the proportions and design of the ship. Of course I interpreted the ship design in my own way, but I felt I should include the painting that inspired me for reference as the inspiration for this piece was not original.
