I Found Hidden 1800's Mill Ruins Manchester , NH.

Located along the Cohas Brook, also known as Goffe's Falls, in Manchester, NH, hides one of the area's most historical but well-hidden sites. This area dates back to the early 1700's as settlers, particularly John Goffe, constructed a water-powered sawmill in this approximate location where the Cohas Brook empties out into the Merrimack River. The lumber generated from this sawmill was then used to construct one of the first settlements near what eventually became Manchester, NH. The red brick mill remnants depicted in this video are of the Devonshire Mill complex, which was likely built upon the original 1722 sawmill remnants. The Devonshire Mill complex produced woolen products and operated from 1886 to 1930..
