Outdoor kitchen build in 20 minutes! Using my old Weber gas grill.

We wanted an outdoor kitchen but didn’t want to pay a ridiculous price for one, so we grabbed a hammer and turned the grill we already had into our own DIY outdoor kitchen! The kitchen is framed with 2x4’s, anchored to the cement, wrapped in cement board and tiled. The countertop is a unique horizontally laminated beam which was found at a local lumber yard. We incorporated a antique Dr. Pepper ice chest with a drain to hold drinks, a trash can hidden away under the counter, a beverage fridge (can’t have enough cold drinks!), drawers for yard games, and cooking utensil drawers. The centerpiece is a Weber Genesis LP grill which was converted to natural gas and plumbed into the house. It took a little cutting and grinding for the grill to fit, but it looked streamlined and cost thousands less than a purpose built island grill.
