Walt Disney World Vacation April 2015 | Flights to Orlando | Episode 2

Our Walt Disney World vacation 2015 continues! Today we are getting on our British airways flight to Orlando. Before we grab our flight to Orlando we go and get some breakfast at the Hampton by Hilton hotel, when we arrived at the restaurant there was a great selection of food to choose from. After breakfast we we got our hand luggage and headed through Gatwick security and into the departure lounge. We were really surprised and impressed with the amount of great shops ands restaurants available at the North terminal departure lounge at Gatwick, the day before we were told that our flight to Orlando was delayed so we thought why not chill out and have a cocktail at Jamie's Italian just to pass the time. Eventually we get the call to board our British airways flight and set off on our adventure to Orlando, later on we get lunch on board the flight and we were really impressed with the food as Stephie got Bangers & mash while Dave got Chicken tikka masala both tasted really good. Unfortunately near the end of our flight we had one of the worse turbulence we have ever experienced and due to this we were not allowed to get drinks with our snack but before this event happened drinks were available at the back of economy. We arrive at Orlando safely and one of the air cabin crew makes a comment on our backpack that we have had signed by Disney characters and we will get more signatures in this trip. When we get through immigration and pick up our luggage we head to the Disney magical express to check in and board our coach so we can head off to our Disney resort. Our journey to our resort took from 45 mins to 1 hour, we arrive at our home for the next 10 days which is the Disney All Star Music resort. We check in and head over to our room which is located at the Jazz Inn section when we get to our room we receive a lovely message from reception and unpack our bags. We also decorate our room window as we are celebrating both Dave & Stephie's birthdays! Our original plan was to head over for a couple of hours to Disney Hollywood Studios but due to our flight being delayed we didn't arrive to our resort till 8pm, so we get some dinner at the resort restaurant and buy our refillable resort mugs which were very good value for money and get a early night for our full day at the Walt Disney World Parks.
