48 Hours as an Amazon HGV Driver… Every Load Got Cancelled!

Welcome back to another HGV driving vlog. This shift didn’t go anything like I expected. I started on Sunday afternoon, but over the next 48 hours every trailer I was sent to collect ended up being cancelled. I drove across the country multiple times, only to be told the job had been pulled and to head somewhere else. Along the way I was also trying to find somewhere to have a shower, but the services were packed. Later on I helped another truck driver who was struggling to reverse into a really tight parking bay before trying to find somewhere safe to park for the night myself in an industrial area. This is what life as an Amazon trunking driver in the UK is really like—not every shift is exciting, and sometimes the job is simply dealing with delays, cancellations, and making the best of a frustrating couple of days.
