Vintage 1970s Mitsubishi lift in Hong Kong

Location: Tin Chak Building, 32-34 Gilman's Bazaar, Central This is the older of the two Mitsubishis, just round the corner from the other one. This lift boasts features that were found on a typical small passenger lift from Mitsubishi back in the day. Classic indicators inside and on the upper floors, and the older car operating panel design which was used in so many of its counterparts from that era. The wooden interior design was also very common among these small old Mitsubishis, though this lift had its wooden walls covered up by a wallpaper. The flooring also appears to have been hardened at some point. Once a staple in many smaller buildings, these lifts are quickly getting replaced with the help of the local government's subsidies. At the end of the video I included a picture of the LOP on one of the upper floors. Floors served: G, 1-5 Capacity: 6persons450kg or 1000lbs Manufacturer: Mitsubishi Electric History: Original!
