Maria Callas Obliterates Franco Corelli with Huge Laserbeam D6
Highlighted comments from the commenters below: -From Shahrdad This was November of 1953, before Callas had lost too much weight. Her voice still had the support, the heft, and the ease that it would lose along with the pounds. Corelli and Callas were very fond of one another, and he once said she pretty much taught him the role of Pollione. Even when her voice was almost gone in the Paris Normas, he would scale down his immense voice in order to support her. Lovely singer and a real human being. Disclaimer - I own nothing
