South Korean actor Park Se-jin in an exclusive interview for YesAsia.ru! Our authors spoke with the young actor on the sidelines of the K-FOOD FAIR 2026 Korean culture festival in Moscow. Park Se-jin arrived from Seoul and visited Russia for the first time, a country he has long been interested in thanks to his mentor, who studied in Moscow. Highlights from the interview with the actor: Moscow connection: Park Se-jin's mentor studied at the Shchukin Theatre Institute and GITIS. Because of this, the actor has always dreamed of visiting Moscow and considers this visit a great honor. Academic plans: Park Se-jin is determined to continue his acting career. After completing his studies in Korea, he is considering pursuing a master's degree in the UK or returning to Russia, specifically to the Shchukin Theatre School. After that, he plans to return to Korea to act in theater and film. Education in Korea: Se-jin is currently studying acting at the Korea National University of Arts (K-Arts), one of the country's top and most prestigious public universities specializing in this field. About music: Se-jin performed on stage at the festival, but clarified that he doesn't write his own music, but rather covers and interprets existing songs in his own style. He doesn't yet know whether he'll return to Russia as a singer, but due to the wonderful impressions he had from the trip, he definitely plans to visit Moscow again. Idols and role models: Internationally, Se-jin considers actor Lee Byung-hun to be his main role model. In the theater world, his inspiration and idol is Korean actor Park Jung-bok. Russian language: The actor admitted that he really wants to learn Russian, but finds it extremely difficult.
