PS2 Gameplay — Darkwatch [2 Players] [4K, 60fps]
Darkwatch is a first-person shooter video game developed by High Moon Studios and released in 2005 for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox. In Darkwatch, players take on the role of Jericho Cross, a ruthless outlaw who becomes cursed after robbing a train belonging to a group of vampires. As a result, Jericho must fight his way through a variety of supernatural enemies, using both conventional firearms and unique vampire powers. One of the most notable aspects of Darkwatch is its blending of Western and horror themes. The game takes place in the American Old West, with a range of Western-inspired weapons and settings, but also features a range of horror elements, including vampires, werewolves, and zombies. The gameplay in Darkwatch is fast-paced and action-packed, with a mix of shooting, melee combat, and platforming elements. The game's unique vampire powers, such as the ability to slow down time or regenerate health, add an extra layer of strategy and depth to the gameplay. Another interesting feature of Darkwatch is its use of a morality system. Throughout the game, Jericho is faced with choices that affect his alignment on a good-evil scale. Depending on the player's choices, Jericho will gain access to different abilities and story outcomes. The graphics in Darkwatch are impressive, with detailed character models, environments, and visual effects. The game's soundtrack is also notable, with a range of eerie and atmospheric tracks that help to set the game's dark and moody tone. Overall, Darkwatch is a unique and memorable entry in the first-person shooter genre. With its blend of Western and horror themes, fast-paced gameplay, and unique vampire powers, it remains a cult classic among fans of the genre. At the time the game was released, I remember playing it and having a lot of fun. Nowadays, I can see that I can still have fun, but less than before. Gameplay is stuttered, aiming is slow, or very fast. The low frame rate gets in the way, making gameplay less fluid. Despite that, Darkwatch manages to get less worse if you have a friend to play with. 00:00 - Intro 02:16 - The Wrong Train 09:01 - Ride Like the Devil 13:58 - Boneyard 30:16 - Devil's Belly Mine 51:53 - Darkwatch Outpost 01:05:23 - Torture Maze 01:31:44 - Baptism of Fire 02:00:19 - Rescue 02:12:10 - The Deadlight Prism 02:39:08 - Invasion 02:59:04 - Hangtown 03:20:37 - The Morning After 03:46:30 - Showdown 03:58:58 - The Right Train 04:05:17 - Deadfall 04:28:43 - Curse of the West 04:36:36 - Ending & Credits Played by Dimmetria and @HenPlay
