Dr. Dave on Psychadelics

Recently, the President of the United States Donald Trump signed an Executive Order regarding an expedited research and approval from the FDA for the medical use of psychedelic medications. A lot of people have asked me how I feel about it. This is my response. Whether we're taking about ibogaine, ketamine, or other dissociative medications, I think we need to "pump the brakes" on how revolutionary and "ground-breaking" these medications might or might not be. I hope you watch the second half of the video, where I talk about how dangerous to tell people that "if you stay busy, you'll never get depressed, because you won't have time to." That is a really bad thing to say. Maybe it was a joke. I hope so.
