Philippians 2:19-30 :: “Selfless Servants of Christ”
Philippians 2:19-30 :: “Selfless Servants of Christ” It is a paradox that the key to our contentment is to put the needs of others before our own as we seek to do God’s will. It is counter-intuitive in the sense that the natural response of the flesh is to focus on self and the pursuit of our pleasure, desires and interests. Yet, that life never satisfies. Conversely, the life that imitates Jesus’ example of humble selfless service to God and others produces unity and contentment in this life and the life to come. We hope you enjoy this week's teaching from the Book of Philippians.
