This time, I removed the manual transmission (selective 4WD, no electro-luminescence) from my Sambar and serviced it to repair an oil leak that had been bothering me since I purchased it. While the engine is usually located under the driver's seat in a minivan, the Sambar's is located in the cargo area, making it easy to access from above and making maintenance easier. The oil leak was apparently caused by the seal around the crankshaft, and replacing the crankshaft seal and applying silicone completely fixed the problem.👍 1. Additional Information about the Video (1) According to the maintenance manual, the installation position for the transmission lifting jig is the front for 2WD and the rear for 4WD. Since the 4WD transmission has more weight on the front side than the 2WD, the video shows it being lifted from the front, but it didn't cause any problems with balance. If anyone has experience lifting a 4WD vehicle from the rear, please leave a comment.
