Restoration RARE Stanley No. 113 Original Patina!
#handplane #restoration #Stanley This Professional restoration shows the process from shed to shelf how an actual antique dealer would restore a Stanley plane leaving ALL ORIGINAL PATINA intact. The blade was the only thing I had to clean up to that degree because of the reshaping process but normally thats not the case. The wire brush wheel is very soft and gets the brunt of the rust off afterwards using a buffing wheel ties it all together. Super fine steel wool was used to help clean the japanning and get paint splatter off but ONLY when wet (e.g. with howards restore.) Thank you for watching and I will be uploading more very soon!
