Small Bedroom Makeover: Tatami, Minimal, Cozy

Hello all & Happy New Year :) With the 1 year floor bed futon update video coming, I wanted to also update my small bedroom space. I spend so much time in here, it's not just a bedroom, but my work area, creative space, fitness room and reading nook. I've been experimenting with different ways to enjoy tiny apartment life, so I hope you enjoy the journey with me (and can you believe this is the first time i've ever painted walls a color in my apartment! (or have been allowed to) & lets just say i've lived apartment life for a long time now.. Thanks for watching & subscribe if you'd like :) **A note about how I improperly used the term 'Wabi-Sabi' at 3:30 , just a week after posting this I learned wabi-sabi holds a different meaning then the one I often heard or seen referenced around interior design and shortly described as 'imperfectly beautiful', but this term can not be made or manufactured. But in another too short description: it is a sense when observing the transience or impermanence of nature and utilizing nature's raw elements in processes of certain art pieces. So wabi-sabi is a term not to be used so lightly as it has become in our vocabulary. I'll link my references here, worth a read!
