Broken eBay 1980s RARE ROBERTS RSR100 BOOMBOX - Trying to FIX

Here we have an unusual Boombox made by Roberts in the 1980s. I purchased it from eBay as faulty. It doesn't power on, although it does have a red light. It is filthy, looks like it lived it's life in a oily garage or engineering workshop. Roberts is a UK company founded in the 1930s, and still going strong today.
