For the second night keynote of the 22nd Annual Pop Conference, hosted for first time at USC by the USC Thornton School of Music, PopCon welcomed award-winning Los Angeles–based musical composing duo Wendy Melvoin and Lisa Coleman. In this special conversation with Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture curatorial specialist Timothy Anne Burnside, Wendy & Lisa reflect on their ongoing musical careers — from starting as members of Prince & the Revolution to scoring feature films, television and collaborating on albums with Joni Mitchell, Sheryl Crow, Eric Clapton, Neil Finn, Seal, and Grace Jones to name a few.
