Hold My Beer // Greenstone Mountain // Kamloops, BC // RubbersideDown

Greenstone Mountain is a large unofficial network of trails just west of Kamloops. There trails are more rugged and technical than those available on Harper. Many people prefer to shuttle up and down for their long laps. However there are also various climbing trails available to get you up as well. The RubbersideDown crew went for a pedal up for this ride. The main climb trail (Take It Easy) is mostly an easy traverse with some punchy climbs. These punchy bits took it out of me a lot. We then cut onto a more direct climb (Sixes) which is definitely more painful. It's faster...but oh my god it sucked! At one point the group stopped to check out a car gap (one person sent it!), but I just tucked my head and kept grinding up the slope. Nearly 900-feet climbing later we hit THE HALF WAY POINT! And here we turned down. The trail of choice: Hold My Beer. Great name for a technical trail where all the rock features had a main line that over-shadowed the B-lines. A great ride full of dirt, dust, and laughs. Riding it with such a large group with kept the mood light. Lots of cheers and support. #mtb #mtbbc #mtblove #mtblife #freeride #freeridemtb #singletrack #dadlife #mountainbike #mountainbiketrails #mountainbikinglife #mountainbiking #mountainbiketrails #kamloopsbc #kamloops #riding #outdooractivity #outdoors #insta360 #insta360oners #insta360rs Before you click off, don't forget to: Give me a thumbs up if you liked it Subscribe to see more like this Leave me a comment on what you thought.
