VIC 2026: BRAILLIO

Braillio is a bilingual Malay-English assistive learning system designed to support early alphabet learning for visually impaired children through tactile and auditory interaction. This project uses Braille-embedded RFID flashcards, an RC522 RFID reader, Arduino Uno, DFPlayer Mini audio module, and speaker to provide immediate alphabet and word pronunciation feedback in both Bahasa Malaysia and English. Braillio aims to make alphabet learning more accessible, interactive, and independent for visually impaired learners. It can also support teachers, parents, caregivers, therapy centres, resource centres, and special education schools as an inclusive teaching aid.
