BEWARE OFF-ROAD CARAVANERS’ | RIVERFRONT LOW COST CAMP | how to fix a dodgy door - Ep37

On this weeks adventure, we continue to make our way south and find a low-cost caravan park Coraki, a small riverside town in northern New South Wales. We set up camp at the Coraki caravan park which was fantastic value and only $90 for four nights which included power and water. We explore the town and the surrounding areas and to our surprise we find a beautiful and peaceful place to kick back and relax and take a little bit of RnR from the daily grind of life on the road. We spend our afternoons relaxing on the banks of the Richmond River under the shade of some magnificent old fig trees which are dotted throughout the caravan park. We day trip out to the sleepy seaside town of Iluka on the New South Wales North Coast to enjoy lunch together and a peaceful walk along the beach. We discover a fantastic camp area in the National Park just outside of Iluka and we almost get bogged on the first beach we attempt to drive on in New South Wales. Our Caravan let us down, just as the weather starts to turn cold, the hot water system won’t light and we try and vain to find a gas fitter or plumber to check it out, but none will pick up their phone. Eventually we get onto a gas fitter and plumbing business in Lismore called HORNS GAS FITTING & PLUMBING who went out of their way to accommodate us and get the problem solved. AFTER DIAGNOSING THE PROBLEM WITH OUR HOT WATER SYSTEM WE’D LIKE TO WARN ALL OTHER OFF-ROAD CARAVANER’s ABOUT JUST HOW EASY IT CAN BE TO HAVE YOUR SWIFT HOT WATER SYSTEM DAMAGED BY DUST.
