PART ONE - SON OF MAN OR SON OF GOD As we prepare our hearts to celebrate Christmas and the birth of Jesus Christ, it is important to update our understanding of who He is today. Jesus is no longer in a cradle. He is enthroned and crowned as King of Kings, Lord of Lords, and the Lion of the Tribe of Judah! This powerful revelation is what truly empowers our walk with God and our service to Him. (Hebrews 6:1) We are called to be witnesses of Jesus Christ wherever we go. However, it is impossible to be a witness and testify for someone that you don’t know. This was Moses’ dilemma when the LORD sent him to tell Pharaoh to let His people go. (Exodus 3:13) Moses did not know the God who was sending him to undertake this audacious task. Not only would he have to face the people of Israel, he would also have to face Pharaoh. Who was he to stand before Pharaoh and bring the people of Israel out of Egypt, when he didn’t even know the name of the God who was sending him? Thankfully, God revealed not only His name, but also His strength and power to deliver, to Moses. From then on, Moses became a man “who knew His God,” and through him, the LORD did exploits in Egypt and among the nations on behalf of His people. We also need to behold Jesus Christ and gain a revelation of who He is, not just as the Son of Man or Lamb of God, but also as the Son of God and Lion of Judah. In Part One Apostle Jennifer Abigail Lawson-Wallace passionately admonishes us to behold Jesus Christ as the Son of God.
