Sierra Pacific - 2025 Manufacturing Week Bus Tour

Sierra Pacific Industries produces 1.2 million board feet of lumber a day at their Burlington Plant — but that’s not all. They have a clean-burning co-generation plant that produces 25 megawatts of electricity from sawdust and other waste wood. After using the electricity to power the mill, they sell 17 megawatts into the grid for their neighbors to use in Skagit County and beyond.
