Online Discussion on Conscription Systems in the Baltic Sea Region

“Countries should not just train traditional infantry soldiers – they should cultivate soldiers with engineering skills and foster innovation.” At a GSSC-hosted discussion, the Center presented its latest publication on conscription systems in the Baltic Sea region. The publication’s authors, Fredrik Weibull and Karl Yden, explored different conscription models, the challenges of scaling armed forces, and the role of technology in strengthening defence.
