Well, who hasn't been through... "my suitcase was lost, what to do?" You arrive at the airport, check your luggage, and when you get to your destination, eager to go to the hotel, or running late for an appointment, you go to the baggage carousel to get your suitcase and it takes forever and never comes... but hope springs eternal, right? Then you wait a little longer, and a little longer, and the suitcase doesn't arrive. Then the carousel stops, you stare at it, a chill running down your spine... and then, phew! It starts moving again and your heart fills with hope. But the suitcases start appearing, other passengers too, and still nothing. And when you look at the screen, you realize that the flight number has changed: it's the next flight and "my suitcase disappeared at the airport," that's right, it simply didn't come. Patience, time to look for an airline employee. You arrive at the counter and the saga begins: you fill out a form, explain the color of your suitcase, say where you're going, put in your hotel address... they swear they'll deliver it as quickly as possible. A lot of promises, but there's no real explanation, just an apology and the realization that your suitcase disappeared at the airport and really didn't arrive. "Sorry, hopefully we'll deliver it tomorrow." Well, life as an airline ground staff member isn't easy. As the great Argentinian actor Ricardo Darín said: "airports are capable of bringing out the worst in people," and these people have to put up with all sorts of things... But I understand your side. Now you're in a different city without clothes, without everything you brought, and very unsure if you'll ever see your lost suitcase again. But, as I said, anyone can apologize. What no one gives you—an explanation for "my luggage disappeared, what to do?"—is what you get. And that's what we're going to do today here on the Planes and Music channel with Lito Sousa.
